Registration Information
In order to make use of the features of gift-genie.co.uk you are required to submit contact details and brief personal information. Gift-genie.co.uk collects your personal information only with your consent.

Gift-genie also uses cookies to track user trends and patterns. Who we share information with

We do not share any of your information with any 3rd parties apart from the following exceptions:
- Where promotions or competitions are offered we may be required to pass the competition winner/s to the promoter in order to fulfil the winning prize/s.
- In cases where we fulfil the competition ourselves, we will be required to give your information to the courier or postal service.

Gift-genie does, however, reserve the right to share aggregate statistics, information and data about the users of gift-genie where no individual person can be identified with advertisers, business partners, sponsors, and other third parties. Some services which are provided through or in connection with gift-genie may display your IP address.

gift-genie has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information under its control from unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss or destruction or damage. Nor does gift-genie believe that you should provide any personal information while you are using the Internet if you are not comfortable in doing so. Gift-genie will never ask you for any of your passwords or any other personal information in an unsolicited telephone call or email.

Email and Opting out

You will have the opportunity to opt out of receiving our newsletters during the gift-genie registration process and on each newsletter you receive from us. We may occasionally email you regarding your account or for administrative purposes, these communications are an integral part of running the website and are therefore mandatory, if you do not want to receive such messages, please contact us to remove your account.
Other emails we send are reminders, notifications and invitations. Reminders and notifications can be controlled in your account preferences and have unsubscribe instructions on each email, Invitations are initiated by other people, please contact the person sending the invitation to prevent further emails.

Changing and deleting your personal information

You can find out what personal information Gift-genie has about you by filling in our feedback form. Upon request, Gift-genie will provide you with a copy of the personal information which is kept about you. (You may be required to disclose some security information so that we can be sure that we can identify you as the user)
You are entitled to change, update, amend and delete any personal information that gift-genie has about you. Please keep in mind that this may mean you are unable to access and use our services and information.
